REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery. |
Removal & Installation (Front)
- Raise and support window. Disconnect negative battery cable. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver between door inside bezel and handle assembly. Carefully bend retaining clips outward while pulling on bezel. Disconnect electrical connector(s). Remove power accessory switch panel by prying switch panel from trim panel. Clips are located at screwdriver slots in switch panel.
- Remove trim panel screws. Slide trim panel upward to release from retainers. Remove water deflector. Disconnect electrical connector from window motor. Remove 2 bolts retaining glass to window regulator. Remove window regulator mounting bolts. Fold both sides of window regulator together and remove from door.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten window regulator-to-door bolts to 80 INCH lbs. (9 N.m). Tighten window glass-to-window regulator bolts to 80 INCH lbs. (9 N.m).
Removal & Installation (Rear)
- Raise window. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver between door inside bezel and handle assembly. Carefully bend retaining clips outward while pulling on bezel. Remove trim panel screws. Slide trim panel upward to release from retainers. Disconnect electrical connector(s). Remove water deflector.
- Remove window run channel front bolt attachment. Loosen retaining bolts on window and remove window out through top. Disconnect electrical connector from window motor. Remove window regulator mounting bolts and remove from door.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten window regulator-to-door bolts to 80 INCH lbs. (9 N.m). Tighten window glass-to-window regulator bolts to 80 INCH lbs. (9 N.m).
Disconnect negative battery cable. Using flat-blade screwdriver, pry window switch panel from door trim panel. Disconnect electrical connector and remove window switch panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
