Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004, (Canadian P/N 10953480), or equivalent, to the plug threads. TIP: When performing the following procedure, use only hand tools to remove and install the drain plug. Tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft) |
| 2 | Transfer Case Fill Plug Procedure Fill the transfer case to the bottom of the fill plug hole with DEXRON® VI GM P/N 88861003 (Canadian P/N 88861004) Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004, (Canadian P/N 10953480), or equivalent, to the plug threads. TIP: When performing the following procedure, use only hand tools to remove and install the fill plug. Tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft) |
