PRE-MEASUREMENT CHECKS
Inflate tires to proper air pressure. Specifications can be found on door pillar or in glove box. Cargo compartment must by empty. Fuel tank should be full. Bounce vehicle up and down to normalize ride height.
Most General Motors vehicles ride height specifications are checked after front end alignment is completed. Specification is given as "Axle Gap" in wheel alignment specifications. Axle gap measurement points are shown. (Scheme 2), (Scheme 3) and (Scheme 4).
