REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section before disconnecting battery. |
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove drive belt. Remove nut retaining positive battery terminal. Disconnect alternator electrical connector. Remove mounting bolts, nuts, braces and brackets. Remove other components as necessary. Remove alternator. To install, reverse removal procedure.
