- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to «Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle»(ref-610031-S32962375812014042100000) .
- Remove the front tire and wheel assemblies. Refer to «Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation»(ref-610040-S26047125632014042100000) .
- Remove the bolt from the intermediate shaft bracket to the front cradle. Refer to «Front Wheel Drive Intermediate Shaft Replacement»(ref-610098-S02984047672014042100000) .
- Remove the rear propeller shaft, if equipped. Refer to «Propeller Shaft Replacement»(ref-610076-S04226847072014042100000) .
- Disconnect the outer tie rods from the steering knuckles. Refer to «Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement»(ref-610078-S09696154652014042100000) .
- Disconnect the stabilizer shaft links from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to «Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement»(ref-610077-S17246786012014042100000) .
- Position an adjustable jack stand underneath the left rear and right rear of the front frame.
- Remove the left and right frame reinforcement mounting bolts.
- Loosen the front frame reinforcement mounting bolts (1).
- Loosen the front frame mounting bolts (2).
- Loosen the front frame rear mounting bolts (1).
- Lower the front frame (1) from the frame rail (2) until enough clearance is gained to remove the stabilizer shaft.
- Remove both left and right stabilizer shaft insulators. Refer to «Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement»(ref-610077-S38780999652014042100000) . NOTE: If replacing the stabilizer shaft, use NEW insulators.
- Remove the stabilizer shaft from the vehicle. NOTE: It may be necessary to maneuver the stabilizer shaft in order to remove the stabilizer shaft from the front frame.
