CAUTIONWhen jacking or lifting a vehicle at side rails or any other prescribed lifting point, ensure lift pads DO NOT contact catalytic converter or brake or fuel lines. Since center of gravity is farther forward on front wheel drive vehicles, support vehicle to prevent vehicle from tipping forward when removing major components.

Metro

Use floor jack only under center of front or rear crossmember. (Scheme 4)

Prizm, Prizm GSi, Storm & Storm GSi

Use floor jack only under engine lower crossmember or rear subframe. (Scheme 4)

Tracker

Use floor jack only under front crossmember or rear axle housing. (Scheme 5)- see scheme 5.

Position hoist lift pads under prescribed areas. (Scheme 5)- see scheme 5.
