Inspection and Verification

  1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
  2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
  3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause before proceeding to the next step.

If this is not the causal system for the symptom, refer back to NOISE, VIBRATION AND HARSHNESS article for the next likely system and continue diagnosis
