Removal & Installation
Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Remove splash shield. Disconnect wiring from starter solenoid (and starter motor ground strap on 3.0L engines). Remove upper and lower starter bolts. Remove starter. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
