  10. Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor (part of the fuel vapor tube assembly).
  11. fuel tubes (liquid and vapor).
  12. Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM).

The vehicle

  1. utilizes an Electronic Returnless Fuel System (ERFS) on 5.8L (4V) vehicles and a Mechanical Returnless Fuel System (MRFS) on 3.7L and 5.0L (4V) vehicles.
  2. has a saddle-type fuel tank.
  3. has a FP module in the LH saddle of the fuel tank that supplies fuel under pressure to the fuel rail.
  4. has a serviceable fuel level sender mounted on the FP module.
  5. has a fuel level sensor in the RH saddle of the fuel tank.
  6. has an Easy Fuel™ (capless) fuel tank filler pipe assembly, which cannot be modified in any way.
  7. has a supplemental refueling adapter located in the luggage compartment is equipped with a sequential Multi-Port Fuel Injection (MFI) system.
  8. has fuel tubes (liquid and vapor) mounted on the underside of the vehicle in a bundle.
  9. has a FTP sensor (part of the fuel vapor tube assembly).
  10. uses separately controlled fuel injectors for each cylinder. The fuel injectors are mounted to the intake manifold.
  11. fuel injectors are supplied with pressurized fuel from the FP module to the fuel rail.
  12. fuel injection rail pressure is controlled by the electronic FP module which is enabled by the PCM.
  13. has a Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) that shuts off fuel in the event of a collision.
