Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal. Raise and support vehicle. Remove rear starter support bracket (if equipped). On vehicles equipped with roll restrictor brace-to-starter studs on transmission housing, remove 3 attaching nuts and remove brace (also remove cable support on Tempo/Topaz). On all models disconnect starter cable from motor. Remove starter mounting bolts and remove starter.
