Refer to: BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM - SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMPONENT DESCRIPTION.
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| B12DA:12 | Blind Spot Warning Indicator: Circuit Short To Battery | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the DDM or PDM detects a short to battery voltage on the exterior mirror Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®)/Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) LED voltage supply circuit. |
DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS
Refer to: BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM - SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMPONENT DESCRIPTION.
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| B12DA:11 | Blind Spot Warning Indicator: Circuit Short To Ground | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the DDM or PDM detects a short to ground on the exterior mirror Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®)/Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) LED voltage supply circuit. |
| B12DA:13 | Blind Spot Warning Indicator: Circuit Open | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the DDM or PDM detects a open on the exterior mirror Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®)/Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) LED voltage supply circuit. |
DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS
The SODR uses an address ground pin for configuration purposes. The address ground is used to differentiate the SODL from the SODR during configuration. The SODR communicates over the extended MS-CAN .
The blocked sensor message indicates that there is an obstruction on the rear bumper cover near the SODL or SODR that is obscuring the radar used by the SODL and SODR .
The Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) and Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) system are turned off for one key cycle after being disabled in the IPC message center. When a MyKey® restricted key is in use, the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) and Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) cannot be disabled.
Refer to: BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM - SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMPONENT DESCRIPTION.
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| U3000:44 | Control Module: Data Failure | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the SODL or SODR detects an internal RAM failure. |
| U3000:45 | Control Module: Program Memory Failure | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the SODL or SODR detects an internal software failure. |
| U3000:46 | Control Module: Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the SODL or SODR detects a EEPROM failure. |
| U3000:48 | Control Module: Supervision Software Failure | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the SODL or SODR detects a calibration failure. |
| U3000:49 | Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the SODL or SODR detects an internal electronic communication failure. |
| U3000:4A | Control Module: Incorrect Component Installed | Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the SODL or SODR detects an internal electronic communication failure. |
DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS
The SODL and SODR receive voltage through RJB fuse 29 (5A) any time the ignition is on.
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| U3003:62 | Battery Voltage: Signal Compare Failure | Sets in continuous memory in the SODL and SODR when the vehicle voltage message sent from the BCM varies by more than 2 volts from the actual voltage measured by the SODL or SODR . |
DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS
The BCM communicates with the SODL and SODR over an extended MS-CAN . The BCM stores Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for the extended MS-CAN circuits.
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| U0037:88 | Vehicle Communication Bus B: Bus off | Sets in continuous memory when the BCM detects a communication failure on the extended MS-CAN circuits. |
| U0040:00 | Vehicle Communication Bus "B" (+) Low: No Sub Type Information | Sets in continuous memory when the BCM detects less than 0.5 volts on the extended MS CAN (+) circuit. |
| U0041:00 | Vehicle Communication Bus "B" (+) High: No Sub Type Information | Sets in continuous memory when the BCM detects greater than 9 volts on the extended MS CAN (+) circuit. |
| U0043:00 | Vehicle Communication Bus "B" (-) Low: No Sub Type Information | Sets in continuous memory when the BCM detects less than 0.5 V on the extended MS CAN (-) circuit. |

DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS
The IPC is used to enable and disable the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) and Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) system.
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| U0155:01 | Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module: General Electrical Failure | Sets in continuous memory in the SODL and SODR when information received from the IPC does not match the sensor information. |
