TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

WARNINGAll vehicles are equipped with gas-pressurized front struts and rear shock absorbers which will extend unassisted. Do not apply heat or flame to the shock absorber or strut during removal or disassembly. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
CAUTIONSuspension fasteners are critical parts because they affect performance of vital components and systems and their failure can result in major service expense. A new part with the same part number must be installed if installation is necessary. Do not use a new part of lesser quality or substitute design. Torque values must be used as specified during reassembly to make sure of correct retention of these parts.

The front suspension consists of the following components

  1. Wheel bearings
  2. Wheel hubs
  3. Lower control arms
  4. Stabilizer bar
  5. Stabilizer bar links
  6. Stabilizer bar bushings
  7. Strut and spring assemblies
  8. Wheel knuckles
  9. Subframe assembly
