TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

There are 2 different exhaust systems which use a 3-piece construction for production and 5-piece construction for service: the 2.0L engine production zero emissions vehicle (PZEV) exhaust system and the 2.0L Non-PZEV and 2.3L engine exhaust system. The 2.0L PZEV exhaust system consists of a one-piece exhaust manifold/catalytic converter assembly, which also incorporates an air inlet tube for the secondary air injection (AIR) system, a heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) and a catalyst monitor sensor. The 2.0L Non-PZEV and 2.3L engine exhaust systems do not have the air inlet tube but still consist of a one-piece exhaust manifold/converter assembly, a HO2S and a catalyst monitor sensor. Both exhaust configurations are coupled to the muffler and converter assembly by a serviceable flexible exhaust pipe.
