DASHPOT ADJUSTMENT

- Remove carburetor from vehicle. Remove the anti-tamper plug concealing mixture adjusting screw. (Scheme 4) Install carburetor.
- Insert probe from exhaust gas analyzer into secondary air hose and plug hose to prevent air leakage. (Scheme 5)
- Start engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature. Turn mixture adjusting screw until analyzer registers a CO concentration of 1.0-2.0%.
- Check idle speed and adjust if necessary. See «IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-22550-S07383838192001010300000). Install new anti-tamper plug and tap into position.
