Removal & Installation
A/C cycling switch is mounted on a Schrader valve. It is NOT necessary to discharge A/C system for switch removal. Disconnect switch connector at accumulator-drier. Unscrew switch from top of accumulator-drier. To install, reverse removal procedure. Hand-tighten switch.
Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Disconnect harness connector from switch. Switch is located at compressor, on manifold and tube assembly. Unscrew switch from manifold and tube. To install, reverse removal procedure. Evacuate and charge A/C system.
Removal & Installation (Outside Air Inlet Door)
Open glove box. Release door stops, and allow glove box door to hang by hinge. Disconnect vacuum hose from vacuum actuator. Remove actuator mounting screws. Carefully rotate vacuum control motor to disengage lever and remove vacuum motor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Panel/Defrost Door)
Disconnect vacuum hose from vacuum actuator. Carefully rotate vacuum control motor to disengage lever and remove vacuum motor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Panel/Floor Door)
Disconnect vacuum hoses from vacuum actuator. Carefully rotate vacuum control motor to disengage lever and remove vacuum motor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Open glove box door. Disengage door stops and allow glove box door hang by hinge. Reaching through glove box opening, unplug electrical connector and aspirator hose from BSC. (Схема №3) Disconnect snap-lock connector from its mounting bracket. Remove 2 screws retaining BSC to evaporator housing. Remove BSC. DO NOT touch BSC fins until it has sufficiently cooled. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove radio chassis. Remove instrument panel center finish panel. Unplug electrical connectors. Remove screws and remove EATC module. From back of control panel disconnect electrical and vacuum connectors. Remove control panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Ambient Temperature Sensor)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove sensor nut and sensor, located in front of condenser core. Unplug electrical connector, and remove sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (In-Vehicle Temperature Sensor)
Disengage glove box door stops. Allow door to hang by hinge. Working through glove box opening, squeeze side tabs to unclip sensor from retainer. Pull sensor through glove box opening. Unplug electrical connector and aspirator hose. Remove sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Sunload Sensor)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove right defrost grille. Remove sunload sensor from 2 mounting studs on defrost grille. Unplug electrical connector, and remove sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
