Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-569582) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to «INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING»(ref-569599) .
  3. Disconnect the quick connect couplings. Refer to «FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION»(ref-569597) .
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-569582) .
  2. Disconnect the quick connect couplings. Refer to «FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION»(ref-569597) . Tighten to 6 Nm (63 lb-in).
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  2. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Carry out the «EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST»(ref-569626-S41640056792013072700000) . Refer to «EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST»(ref-569626-S41640056792013072700000) .

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to «JACKING & LIFTING»(ref-569550) .
  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-569582) .
  3. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to «FUEL TANK AND LINES»(ref-569627) .
  4. Disconnect the quick connect couplings. Refer to «FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION»(ref-569597) .
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Carry out the «EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST»(ref-569626-S41640056792013072700000) . Refer to «EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST»(ref-569626-S41640056792013072700000) .
