1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to «JACKING & LIFTING»(/ford/escape/iii-2012-2015/remont/oem-general-information/#jacking-lifting) .
2. Remove the fender moulding. Refer to «EXTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION»(ref-569643) .
3. Three on each side. To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
4. To install, tighten the front bumper cover upper bolts and washers to 2.5 Nm (22 lb-in).
5. To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to «BUMPER COVER - FRONT»(ref-569628-S32951561562013072700000) .
2. If equipped, remove the active grille shutters. Refer to «FRONT END BODY PANELS»(ref-569581) .
3. To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
4. Two on each side. To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
5. Two on each side. To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
6. To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).
7. Two on each side. To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to «JACKING & LIFTING»(/ford/escape/iii-2012-2015/remont/oem-general-information/#jacking-lifting) .
2. Remove the rear lamp assembly. Refer to «EXTERIOR LIGHTING»(ref-569589) .
3. Remove the quarter panel moulding. Refer to «EXTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION»(ref-569643) .
4. On each side. To install, tighten to 1.5 Nm (28 lb-in).
5. To install, tighten to 3.2 Nm (28 lb-in).
6. On each side.
7. NOTE: Inspect the bumper cover clips for damage.
8. NOTE: On each side. If required.
