- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to «JACKING & LIFTING»(/ford/escape/iii-2012-2015/remont/oem-general-information/#jacking-lifting) .
- Discard the specified component. Follow local disposal regulations. To install, tighten the new bolts to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
- NOTE: Do not remove driveshaft from the PTU flange by pulling on the driveshaft tube. Damage to the CV-joint can result. Marker. Center punch.
- Discard the specified component. Follow local disposal regulations. To install, tighten the new bolts to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
- NOTE: Do not remove driveshaft from the pinion flange by pulling on the driveshaft tube. Damage to the CV-joint can result. Marker. Screwdriver.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
