Seats

The seats consist of the following components

The seat options consist of

1. high back bucket (leather, power, driver lumbar, dual map pockets, optional side air bag)
2. high back bucket (high series cloth, driver lumbar, dual map pockets, driver height adjuster, optional side air bags)
3. high back bucket (low series cloth, optional side air bag)
4. low back bucket (high series cloth, driver lumbar, optional passenger seat trays, optional side air bag)
5. bench rear seat (low series cloth, seatback dump latch)
6. 60/40 rear seat (high series cloth, seatback dump latch, backrest recliners)
7. 60/40 rear seat (leather, seatback dump latch, backrest recliners)

Side Air Bag

Driver and passenger side air bags are attached to the seat backrest frame. For diagnostic information or if the side air bag has been deployed, refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .

Front seat trim covers installed on seats with side air bags cannot be repaired. The front seat backrest trim covers are to be installed new. Cleaning is permissible.

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the power seat. If a side air bag deployment took place, install a new seat back pad, trim cover and side air bag module. Install a new seat back frame if necessary.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage. (Scheme 19)

1. Remove the rear seat backrest. Remove the two nuts and two bolts. Remove the rear seat backrest.
2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the rear seat backrest. See «REAR SEAT BACKREST - SPLIT BENCH»(ref-176897-S34373212782005051600000) or «REAR SEAT BACKREST - BENCH»(ref-176897-S18477741302005051600000) .
2. Remove the rear seat backrest side trim panel.
3. Remove the rear seat backrest latch. Remove the bolt. Remove the nut. Remove the latch.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
