TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

The fuel system consist of

  1. an Front Wheel Drive (FWD) L-shaped fuel tank.
  2. fuel, vapor and brake tubes in an integrated bundle assembly.
  3. quick connect fuel and vapor tube couplings.
  4. a fuel tank filler pipe assembly, which cannot be modified in any way, that also contains a restrictor plate to permit only unleaded fuel to be pumped into the tank.
  5. Easy Fuel™ (capless) fuel tank filler pipe assembly.
  6. an Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM).
  7. a Mechanical Returnless Fuel System (MRFS).
  8. a Fuel Pump (FP) module containing: the electric FP module which provides pressurized fuel to the high pressure Fuel Pump (FP). the fuel level sensor. a check valve which maintains system pressure after the pump is shut off. a pressure relief for overpressure protection in the event of restricted airflow. a fuel filter providing filtration to protect the fuel injectors from foreign material.

The fuel system consist of

  1. an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) saddle-type or Front Wheel Drive (FWD) L-shaped fuel tank.
  2. fuel, vapor and brake tubes in an integrated bundle assembly.
  3. quick connect fuel and vapor tube couplings.
  4. a fuel tank filler pipe assembly, which cannot be modified in any way, that also contains a restrictor plate to permit only unleaded fuel to be pumped into the tank.
  5. Easy Fuel™ (capless) fuel tank filler pipe assembly.
  6. an Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM).
  7. a Mechanical Returnless Fuel System (MRFS).
  8. a Fuel Pump (FP) module containing: the electric FP module which provides pressurized fuel to the engine. the fuel level sensor. a check valve which maintains system pressure after the pump is shut off. a pressure relief for overpressure protection in the event of restricted airflow. a fuel filter providing filtration to protect the fuel injectors from foreign material.

The AWD vehicles have 2 fuel level sensors, one mounted on the FP module located in the LH side of the fuel tank and a separate fuel level sensor located in the RH side of the fuel tank.
