Removal

Note. Suspension and subframe fasteners are critical parts specially designed for the purpose. Replacement fasteners must be identical to the original equipment and torqued as specified. Poor quality or improperly tightened fasteners may fail in service, resulting in vehicle damage and major repair expense.

Note. When repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power steering components may result.

Note. Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
