Note. The Smart Junction Box (SJB) is also known as the Generic Electronic Module (GEM).
The SJB controls all of the interior lighting functions. The interior lighting system consists of the following components

The interior lighting system consists of 2 subsystems
- Courtesy lamps
- Demand lamps
Courtesy Lamps
The courtesy lamp subsystem consists of the ajar switches, interior lamps, cargo lamp(s), instrument panel dimmer switch and the SJB. The SJB supplies voltage to the courtesy lamps when the SJB receives an input that requests the courtesy lamps on.
Stripped chassis vehicles do not utilize the courtesy lamp system.
Illuminated Entry
The illuminated entry feature turns the parking lamps, the dimmable lighting and the courtesy lamps on to illuminate the interior of the vehicle when the ignition is OFF and the RKE transmitter UNLOCK button is pressed. The illuminated entry turns the parking lamps, the dimmable lighting and the courtesy lamps off when any of the following occur.
- After 25 seconds have elapsed.
- The ignition is switched out of OFF.
- The RKE transmitter LOCK button is pressed.
Illuminated Exit
The illuminated exit turns the parking lamps, the dimmable lighting and the courtesy lamps on for 25 seconds when all doors are closed and the ignition key is removed from the ignition lock cylinder. The illuminated exit deactivates
- when the ignition key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder.
- a door becomes ajar.
- 25 seconds have elapsed.
Interior Lighting Delay
The interior lighting delay feature provides temporary illumination of the parking lamps, the dimmable lighting and the courtesy lamps after the doors are opened and then closed. The interior lighting delay feature keeps the parking lamps, the dimmable lighting and the courtesy lamps on for a period of 25 seconds after all the doors are closed. If during the 25-second delay time the SJB detects that the ignition has been turned out of OFF or the vehicle is locked using the RKE transmitter, the parking lamps, the dimmable lighting and the courtesy lamp illumination is turned off.
Theater Lighting
The theater lighting feature ramps-up the courtesy lamps over 0.7 second when courtesy lamp activation is requested. The theater lighting feature ramps-down the courtesy lamps over 1.7 seconds when courtesy lamp deactivation is requested by any feature other than the panic alarm or battery saver.
Demand Lamps
The demand lamps are provided voltage from the battery saver relay (internal to the SJB). The demand lamps subsystem consists of the map/reading lamps, and the LH and RH vanity mirror lamps. The SJB energizes the battery saver relay to supply voltage to the demand lamps
Battery Saver
Note. Time-out is 1 minute if the vehicle has less than 80 km (50 miles).
The SJB provides automatic shut-off of the demand lamps and courtesy lamps 10 minutes after the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position in order to save battery voltage.

Principles of Operation
Note. The Smart Junction Box (SJB) is also known as the Generic Electronic Module (GEM).
When a door is ajar and the vehicle speed is less than 15 km/h (9 mph), or the instrument panel dimmer switch is in the DOME LAMP position, the SJB provides voltage to the courtesy lamp circuit. The SJB controls all interior lighting functions and timing by monitoring inputs from the door ajar switches, the instrument panel dimmer switch, the RKE transmitter and vehicle speed.
Stripped chassis vehicles do not utilize the courtesy lamp system.
Interior Lamp Arbitrator
The SJB chooses between the interior lighting, interior lighting delay, illuminated entry, illuminated exit and battery saver to determine which feature has precedence over activating and deactivating the interior lamps.
Note. Time-out is 1 minute if the vehicle has less than 80 km (50 miles).
The SJB provides automatic shut-off of the demand lamps and courtesy lamps after a 10-minute time-out period in order to save battery voltage. A timer in the SJB is started when the ignition is turned to the OFF position and all the doors are closed. When 10 minutes have elapsed, voltage is automatically shut off to the lamps by the SJB. While the SJB has voltage disabled, if the ignition is turned to any position other than OFF, any door becomes ajar, the UNLOCK button of the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is pressed or the instrument panel dimmer switch is rotated to the DOME LAMP position, the SJB restores voltage and starts the timer again.
Field-Effect Transistor (FET) Protection
Field-Effect Transistor (FET) is a type of transistor that when used with module software can be used to monitor and control current flow on module outputs. The FET protection strategy is used to prevent module damage in the event of excessive current flow.
The SJB utilizes an FET protective circuit strategy for many of its outputs (for example, a headlamp output circuit). Output loads (current level) are monitored for excessive current (typically short circuits) and are shut down (turns off the voltage or ground provided by the module) when a fault event is detected. A continuous DTC is stored at the fault event and a cumulative counter is started.
When the demand for the output is no longer present, the module resets the FET circuit protection to allow the circuit to function. The next time the driver requests a circuit to activate that has been shut down by a previous short (FET protection) and the circuit remains shorted, the FET protection shuts off the circuit again and the cumulative counter advances.
When the excessive circuit load occurs often enough, the module shuts down the output until a repair procedure is carried out. Each FET protected circuit has 3 predefined levels of short circuit tolerance based on the harmful effect of each circuit fault on the FET and the ability of the FET to withstand it. A module lifetime level of fault events is established based upon the durability of the FET. If the total tolerance level is determined to be 600 fault events, the 3 predefined levels would be 200, 400 and 600 fault events.
When each tolerance level is reached, the continuous DTC that was stored on the first failure cannot be cleared by a command to clear the continuous DTCs. The module does not allow this code to be cleared or the circuit restored to normal operation until a successful self-test proves that the fault has been repaired. After the self-test has successfully completed (no on-demand DTCs present), DTC B106E and the associated continuous DTC (the DTC related to the shorted circuit) automatically clears and the circuit function returns.
When the first or second level is reached, the continuous DTC (associated with the short circuit) sets along with DTC B106E. These DTCs can be cleared using the module on-demand self-test, then the Clear DTC operation on the scan tool (if the on-demand test shows the fault corrected). The module never resets the fault event counter to zero and continues to advance the fault event counter as short circuit fault events occur.
If the number of short circuit fault events reach the third level, then DTCs B106F and B1342 set along with the associated continuous DTC. This DTC cannot be cleared and the module must be replaced.
The SJBFET protected output circuits for the interior lighting system is the courtesy lamp output circuit.
Inspection and Verification
- Verify the customer concern.

- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the cause is not visually evident, connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
- If the scan tool does not communicate with the VCM: Check the VCM connection to the vehicle. Check the scan tool connection to the VCM. Refer to «MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/communication-devices/#module-communications-network) , No Power To The Scan Tool, to diagnose no power to the scan tool.
- If the scan tool does not communicate with the vehicle: Verify the ignition key is in the ON position. Verify the scan tool operation with a known good vehicle. Refer to «MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/communication-devices/#module-communications-network) to diagnose no response from the PCM.
- Carry out the network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication for one or more modules, refer to «MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/communication-devices/#module-communications-network) . If the network test passes, retrieve and record the continuous memory DTCs.
- Clear the continuous DTCs and carry out the self-test diagnostics for the SJB.
- If the DTCs retrieved are related to the concern, go to «DTC CHARTS»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lighting-system__dtc-charts) . For all other DTCs, refer to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart in «MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/cruise-control-systems/#multifunction-electronic-modules) .
- If no DTCs related to the concern are retrieved, GO to «SYMPTOM CHART»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lighting-system__symptom-chart) .

Pinpoint Test A: The Courtesy Lamps Do Not Turn On With A Door Open

Normal Operation
The Smart Junction Box (SJB) sends a voltage signal to each door ajar switch. The door ajar switch is open with the door closed. When the door is opened, the signal to ground is completed, indicating an open door to the SJB.
When any door is opened or an unlock request from a programmed Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is detected, the SJB provides voltage to the courtesy lamps.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Door ajar switch
- Body builder equipment
- SJB

The Smart Junction Box (SJB) sends a voltage signal to the instrument panel dimmer switch to determine if the courtesy lamps are requested. When the instrument panel dimmer switch is rotated to the DOME LAMP position, the voltage signal is routed to ground indicating a request to the courtesy lamps. When the request is detected, the SJB supplies voltage to the courtesy lamps.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Instrument panel dimmer switch
- SJB

- B1 CHECK THE DIMMABLE BACKLIGHTING OPERATION Place the headlamp switch in the PARKING LAMPS ON position. Monitor the instrument panel dimmable backlighting while rotating the instrument panel dimmer switch from full on to full off. Does the dimmable backlighting intensity change with the instrument panel dimmer switch position? Yes : For stripped chassis vehicles, GO to B2. For all other vehicles, GO to B3 . - B4 BYPASS THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DIMMER SWITCH Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Instrument Panel Dimmer Switch C2065. Connect a fused jumper wire between the instrument panel dimmer switch C2065-2, circuit CLN28 (GN/BU), harness side and the instrument panel dimmer switch C2065-4, circuit RLN29 (WH/OG), harness side. Do the courtesy lamps illuminate? Yes : REMOVE the jumper wire. INSTALL a new instrument panel dimmer switch. Measure the resistance between the SJBC2280B-51, circuit CLN28 (GN/BU), harness side and the instrument panel dimmer switch C2065-2, circuit CLN28 (GN/BU), harness side. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to B6. No : REPAIR circuit CLN28 (GN/BU) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation.
- B6 CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION Disconnect all the SJB connectors. Check for: corrosion damaged pins pushed-out pins Connect all the SJB connectors and make sure they seat correctly. Operate the system and verify the concern is still present. Is the concern still present? Yes : INSTALL a new SJB. Pinpoint Test C: The Interior Courtesy Lamp(s) Are Inoperative

Power is supplied to the interior courtesy lamps and cargo lamp through the Smart Junction Box (SJB) fuse 9 (15A). Based on the input status from the door ajar switches and the instrument panel dimmer switch, the SJB supplies voltage to the interior courtesy lamps.

- C1 CHECK THE OPERATION OF ALL THE INTERIOR COURTESY LAMPS Ignition OFF. Rotate the instrument panel dimmer switch to the DOME LAMP position and observe the interior courtesy lamps. Are all the interior courtesy lamps inoperative? Yes : VERIFY the SJB fuse 9 (15A) is OK. If OK: For stripped chassis vehicles, GO to C4 . For vehicles with a single interior courtesy lamp, GO to C5 . For vehicles with multiple interior courtesy lamps, GO to C7 . If not OK, REFER to the appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. After the repair: If no DTCs are present, TEST the system for normal operation. If DTC B106E is present, CLEAR the DTCs and REPEAT the self-test (required to enable the courtesy lamp output driver if DTC B106E is present) . TEST the system for normal operation. - C4 CHECK THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DIMMER SWITCH INPUT Ignition ON. Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: SJB DataLogger. Monitor the SJB instrument panel dimmer switch PID (DOMELM_SW) while rotating the instrument panel dimmer switch in and out of the DOME LAMP position. Does the PID agree with the instrument panel dimmer switch position? Yes : GO to C7 . No : GO to «PINPOINT TEST B»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lighting-system__pinpoint-test-b-the-courtesy-lamps) .
- C5 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE FRONT INTERIOR LAMP Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Front Interior Lamp C929. Rotate the instrument panel dimmer switch to the DOME LAMP position. Measure the voltage between the front interior lamp C929-1, circuit VLN33 (GY/VT), harness side and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? Yes : GO to C6. No : GO to C7 .
- C6 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE FRONT INTERIOR LAMP USING THE CONNECTOR GROUND Measure the voltage between the front interior lamp C929-1, circuit VLN33 (GY/VT), harness side and the front interior lamp C929-2, circuit GD133 (BK), harness side. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? Yes : INSTALL a new interior lamp for the lamp in question. REFER to «INTERIOR LAMP»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lighting-system) . TEST the system for normal operation. No : REPAIR circuit GD133 (BK) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation.
- C7 BYPASS THE SJB Rotate the instrument panel dimmer switch out of the DOME LAMP position. Connect: Interior Lamp. Disconnect: SJBC2280A. NOTE: If the jumper wire fails, refer to the OEM WIRING DIAGRAMS - INTERIOR LIGHTS to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. After the repair, if no DTCs are present, test the system for normal operation. If DTC B106E is present, clear the DTCs and repeat the self-test (required to enable the courtesy lamp output driver if DTC B106E is present) . Test the system for normal operation. If DTC B106F is present, install a new SJB. Refer to «MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/cruise-control-systems/#multifunction-electronic-modules) . Test the system for normal operation. Connect a fused jumper wire between the SJBC2280A-9, circuit VLN33 (GY/VT), harness side and battery positive. Do the courtesy lamps illuminate? Yes : REMOVE the jumper wire. GO to C8. No : REMOVE the jumper wire. REPAIR circuit VLN33 (GY/VT) for an open. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- C8 CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION Disconnect all the SJB connectors. Check for: corrosion damaged pins pushed-out pins Connect all the SJB connectors and make sure they seat correctly. Operate the system and verify the concern is still present. Is the concern still present? Yes : INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to «MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/cruise-control-systems/#multifunction-electronic-modules) . TEST the system for normal operation. No : The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector.
Pinpoint Test D: All The Courtesy Lamps Stay On Continuously

The Smart Junction Box (SJB) sends a voltage signal to each door ajar switches. The door ajar switch is open with the door closed. When the door is opened, the signal to ground is completed, indicating an open door to the SJB.
The SJB sends a voltage signal to the instrument panel dimmer switch to determine if the courtesy lamps are requested. When the instrument panel dimmer switch is rotated to the DOME LAMP position, the signal is routed to ground indicating a request for the courtesy lamps.
When the request from the instrument panel dimmer switch is detected, any door is opened or an unlock request from a programmed Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is detected, the SJB supplies voltage to the interior courtesy lamps.

- D1 CHECK FOR SJB OUTPUT DTCs Ignition OFF. Use the recorded results from the SJB self-test. Is DTC B2A35 present? Yes : GO to D2. No : GO to D4 .
- D2 CHECK THE SJB INTERIOR COURTESY LAMP OUTPUT CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE Disconnect: SJBC2280A. Ignition ON. Observe the interior courtesy lamps. Do the interior courtesy lamps continue to illuminate? Yes : For cutaway vehicles, GO to D3. For all other vehicle types, REPAIR circuit VLN33 (GY/VT) for a short to voltage. TEST the system for normal operation. No : GO to D9 .
- D3 ISOLATE THE SHORT TO VOLTAGE Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Body Builder C3359. Ignition ON. Observe the front interior courtesy lamp. Does the front interior courtesy lamp continue to illuminate? Yes : REPAIR circuit VLN33 (GY/VT) for a short to voltage. TEST the system for normal operation. No : The vehicle is operating correctly. REFER to the body builder manual to continue diagnosis.
- D4 CHECK THE SJB INSTRUMENT PANEL DIMMER SWITCH DOME LAMP REQUEST PID Ignition ON. Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: SJB DataLogger. Monitor the SJB instrument panel dimmer switch dome lamp request PID (DOMELM_SW). Does the PID indicate the instrument panel dimmer switch is in the DOME LAMP position? Yes : GO to D5. No : GO to D7 .
- D5 CHECK THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DIMMER SWITCH Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Instrument Panel Dimmer Switch C2065. Make sure all the doors are closed and wait 30 seconds. Do the courtesy lamps continue to illuminate? Yes : GO to D6. No : INSTALL a new instrument panel dimmer switch. REFER to «INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND PANEL ILLUMINATION»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#instrument-cluster-illumination-and-panel-illumination) . TEST the system for normal operation.
- D6 CHECK THE DOME LAMP REQUEST INPUT CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Disconnect: SJBC2280B. Measure the resistance between the instrument panel dimmer switch C2065-2, circuit CLN28 (GN/BU), harness side and ground. Is the resistance greater than 10, 000 ohms? Yes : GO to D9 . No : REPAIR circuit CLN28 (GN/BU) for a short to ground. TEST the system for normal operation.
- D7 CHECK THE DOOR AJAR SWITCH Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Suspect Door Ajar Switch or Body Builder Connector C3359. Make sure all the doors are closed and wait 30 seconds. Do the courtesy lamps continue to illuminate? Yes : GO to D8. No : For the body builder connector, the vehicle is operating correctly. REFER to the body builder manual to continue diagnosis. For a door ajar switch, INSTALL a new door ajar switch in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
- D8 CHECK THE DOOR AJAR INPUT CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Disconnect: SJBC2280C. Measure the resistance between the suspect door ajar switch or body builder connector, harness side and ground as follows: Suspect Ajar Switch Connector-Pin Circuit LH front C2373-1 CPL26 (GN/VT) RH front C2374-1 CPL31 (WH) Side door (hinged) C816-1 CPL39 (YE) Side door (sliding) C398-1 CPL39 (YE) Rear door C4119-1 CPL36 (GN) Body builder C3359-5 CPL36 (GN) Is the resistance greater than 10, 000 ohms? Pinpoint Test E: All The Demand Lamps Are Inoperative

Note. Make sure the correct lighting subsystem is being diagnosed. The interior courtesy lamp subsystem can set DTCs when a fault exists. The interior courtesy lamps can be identified by placing the instrument panel dimmer switch in the DOME LAMP position. If the interior courtesy lamps do not illuminate, GO to PINPOINT TEST C . The demand lamp subsystem is supplied voltage from the battery saver relay. This subsystem does not set a DTC if a fault exists. Demand lamps are identified as lamps that can be illuminated by a switch within the lamp (map lamps and vanity mirror lamps for example).
The Smart Junction Box (SJB) energizes the battery saver relay based on inputs from the ignition key position, the door ajar switches, the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter and the instrument panel dimmer switch. When the battery saver relay is energized, voltage is supplied to the demand lamps. The vanity lamps are grounded directly to the chassis.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Interior lamp
- Body builder equipment
- SJB

- E1 CHECK THE OPERATION OF ALL THE DEMAND LAMPS Ignition OFF. Operate and observe each demand lamp (map lamps and vanity lamps if equipped). Are all the demand lamps inoperative? Yes : VERIFY the SJB fuse 25 (10A) is OK. If OK: For all except stripped chassis, GO to E2. For stripped chassis, GO to E3 . If not OK, REFER to the appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article identify the possible causes of the circuit short. No : GO to «PINPOINT TEST F»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lighting-system__pinpoint-test-f-an-individual-demand) .
- E2 CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE COURTESY LAMPS Rotate the instrument panel dimmer switch to the DOME LAMP position and observe the interior courtesy lamps. Do the interior courtesy lamps illuminate? Yes : For vehicles with a single demand lamp, GO to E3. For vehicles with multiple demand lamps, GO to E4 . No : REPAIR circuit GD133 (BK) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation.
- E3 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE INTERIOR LAMP Rotate the instrument panel dimmer switch out of the DOME LAMP position. Disconnect: Front Interior Lamp C929 or Body Builder C2095 (Stripped Chassis). Ignition ON. For all except stripped chassis vehicles, measure the voltage between the front interior lamp C929-3, circuit CLN09 (YE/GN), harness side and ground. For stripped chassis vehicles, measure the voltage between the body builder C2095-5, circuit CLN09 (YE/GN), harness side and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? Yes : For all except stripped chassis, INSTALL a new interior lamp. REFER to «INTERIOR LAMP»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lighting-system) . TEST the system for normal operation. For stripped chassis, the vehicle is operating correctly. REFER to the body builder manual to continue diagnosis. No : GO to E4.
- E4 BYPASS THE SJB Ignition OFF. Disconnect: SJBC2280D. Connect a fused jumper wire between the SJBC2280D-21, circuit CLN09 (YE/GN), harness side and battery positive. For all except stripped chassis vehicles, measure the voltage between the front interior lamp C929-3, circuit CLN09 (YE/GN), harness side and ground. For stripped chassis vehicles, measure the voltage between the body builder C2095-5, circuit CLN09 (YE/GN), harness side and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? Yes : GO to E5. No : REPAIR circuit CLN09 (YE/GN) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation.
- E5 CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION Disconnect all the SJB connectors. Check for: corrosion damaged pins pushed-out pins Connect all the SJB connectors and make sure they seat correctly. Pinpoint Test G: The Battery Saver Does Not Deactivate After Time-Out

The Smart Junction Box (SJB) controls the battery saver function. The battery saver function provides automatic shutoff of the interior lamps (courtesy lamps and demand lamps) after 10 minutes have elapsed in order to save battery power.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Body builder equipment
- SJB
- G1 CHECK THE SJB IGNITION SWITCH PID Ignition ON. Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: SJB DataLogger. Monitor the SJB ignition switch PIDs (IGN_A_ECU, IGN_O_ECU, IGN_R_ECU and IGN_S_ECU) while rotating the ignition switch through all positions. Do the ignition switch PIDs agree with the ignition switch positions? Yes : GO to G2. No : REFER to «STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/steering-column-switches/#steering-column-switches) .
- G2 CHECK THE DEMAND LAMP VOLTAGE SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE Ignition OFF. Disconnect: SJBC2280D. Ignition ON. Switch any demand lamp on. Does the demand lamp illuminate? Yes : For cutaway vehicles, GO to G3. For stripped chassis vehicles, GO to G4 . For all other vehicles, REPAIR circuit CLN09 (YE/GN) for a short to voltage. TEST the system for normal operation. No : GO to G5 .
- G3 ISOLATE THE SHORT TO VOLTAGE (CUTAWAY VEHICLES) Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Body Builder C3359. Ignition ON. Switch the front demand lamp on. Does the demand lamp illuminate? Yes : REPAIR circuit CLN09 (YE/GN) for a short to voltage. TEST the system for normal operation. No : The vehicle is operating correctly. REFER to the body builder manual to continue diagnosis.
- G4 ISOLATE THE SHORT TO VOLTAGE (STRIPPED CHASSIS VEHICLES) Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Body Builder C2095. Ignition ON. Switch any demand lamp on. Does the demand lamp illuminate? Yes : REPAIR circuit CLN09 (YE/GN) for a short to voltage. TEST the system for normal operation. No : The vehicle is operating correctly. REFER to the body builder manual to continue diagnosis.
