MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
Scheme 1
- If equipped, remove the license plate bracket.
- Remove the front bumper. For additional information, refer to «BUMPER - FRONT»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system) .
- Clean excessive dirt from an area of 2" (50 mm) around the center vent on the inside of the bumper.
- Clean the red rust stains from the inside edges of the center vent opening with Motorcraft Custom Bright Metal Cleaner.
- Apply masking tape around the center vent opening on the outside chrome part of the front bumper allowing for a 1 inch overhang into the opening.
- Using a foam brush, paint the edge of the center vent opening and at least 1" (25 mm) around the inside of the front bumper with the Motorcraft Anti-Corrosion Coating.
- Remove the masking tape around the center vent opening.
- Install the front bumper. For additional information, refer to «BUMPER - FRONT»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system) .
- If equipped, install the license plate bracket.

- Remove the valence panel in the following sequence. Remove the A/C condenser air deflector. Remove the 7 front bumper-to-valence panel screws. Remove the 8 pushpin retainers. Remove the wiring harness retainer for the block heater cord.
- Remove the front bumper in the following sequence. Remove the 4 nuts. Remove the 4 bolts and remove the bumper. To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Removal and Installation

- Remove the 4 retaining nuts from the rear bumper. To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft).
- Disconnect the rear parking aid sensor electrical connector.
- If equipped, remove the trailer hitch wiring retainers.
- Remove the rear bumper.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
