MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS

  1. If equipped, remove the license plate bracket.
  2. Remove the front bumper. For additional information, refer to «BUMPER - FRONT»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system) .
  3. Clean excessive dirt from an area of 2" (50 mm) around the center vent on the inside of the bumper.
  4. Clean the red rust stains from the inside edges of the center vent opening with Motorcraft Custom Bright Metal Cleaner.
  5. Apply masking tape around the center vent opening on the outside chrome part of the front bumper allowing for a 1 inch overhang into the opening.
  6. Using a foam brush, paint the edge of the center vent opening and at least 1" (25 mm) around the inside of the front bumper with the Motorcraft Anti-Corrosion Coating.
  7. Remove the masking tape around the center vent opening.
  8. Install the front bumper. For additional information, refer to «BUMPER - FRONT»(/ford/econoline-e250/2012-2013/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system) .
  9. If equipped, install the license plate bracket.

  1. Remove the valence panel in the following sequence. Remove the A/C condenser air deflector. Remove the 7 front bumper-to-valence panel screws. Remove the 8 pushpin retainers. Remove the wiring harness retainer for the block heater cord.
  2. Remove the front bumper in the following sequence. Remove the 4 nuts. Remove the 4 bolts and remove the bumper. To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the 4 retaining nuts from the rear bumper. To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft).
  2. Disconnect the rear parking aid sensor electrical connector.
  3. If equipped, remove the trailer hitch wiring retainers.
  4. Remove the rear bumper.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
