INTRODUCTION

To diagnose the fuel system on the 7.3L diesel engine, see FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM - DIESEL . The 7.3L VIN K and M diesel engine is mechanically controlled. The computer system is for transmission control only. To diagnose the computer control system, see DIAGNOSIS - E4OD article.
