(1) Check idle speed with transaxle in Park (A/T) or Neutral (M/T) and all accessories off. (2) Curb idle speed should be 650-850 RPM at base ignition timing with ign. timing adjustment connector grounded. (3) Base idle speed should be 700-800 RPM with data link connector terminal No. 1 (test mode control terminal) and ignition timing adjustment connector grounded. If idle is incorrect, idle speed may be adjusted using idle speed screw on throttle body.
