DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM
To disable system, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable. Wait for a minimum of 2 minutes before servicing vehicle. To activate system, reconnect negative battery cable.
| CAUTION | Fasteners, screws and bolts originally used for air bag components, have special coatings and are specifically designed for air bag system. They must never be replaced with any substitutes. Anytime a new fastener is needed, replace with correct fasteners provided in service package or fasteners listed in the parts book. |
