POWER MIRROR SWITCH TEST

  1. Remove door panel. See «POWER MIRROR SWITCH»(ref-123821-S27887213642001092700000) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. On all models, remove power mirror switch from its mounting position. Disconnect switch from wiring harness.
  2. Place mirror selector in appropriate position. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST table. Check for continuity between specified switch pins with mirror in position indicated. see scheme 1 If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.

POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST

POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST

  1. Remove door panel. See «POWER MIRROR SWITCH»(ref-123821-S27887213642001092700000) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect wiring harness connector at switch.
  2. Connect one end of jumper wire to 12-volt source. Connect one end of second jumper wire to a good body ground. Connect remaining end of each jumper wire to specified pins on harness side (not switch side). (Scheme 2) See POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST table. If mirror operation is not as specified in table, check circuit for broken or shorted wire. If wiring is okay, replace mirror assembly as necessary.
