(1) Cold Cranking (CC) rating is current a battery can deliver for 30 seconds and maintain a terminal voltage of 7.2 volts or greater at specified temperature. (2) Reserve capacity rating is length of time a battery can deliver 25 amps and maintain a minimum terminal voltage of 10.5 volts at 80°F (27°C).

(3) On Ram Pickup, use Mopar Thermal stable Multi-Purpose Gear Lubricant SAE 80W-90 with API GL-5 specification. (4) Use SAE 75W-90 API GL-5 fluid or equivalent. (5) Use Mopar manual transmission fluid P/N 4761526 only. (6) Use only Mopar power steering fluid or equivalent. DO NOT use Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). (7) Use SAE 80W-90 with MIL-L-2105C and API GL-5 specification. Add one container of friction modifier to Trac-Lok or Power-Lok limited slip differential when gear lubricant is changed.

REPLACEMENT INTERVALS (HEAVY-DUTY SERVICE)

Note. Accessory drive belts for 3.9L engines are equipped with an automatic belt tensioner and no adjustment is required.

CAUTIONDO NOT attempt to check belt tension using a belt tension gauge on vehicles equipped with an automatic belt tensioner.

Check engine compression with engine at normal operating temperature at specified cranking speed, all spark plugs removed and throttle wide open.
