Wheel Alignment Specifications & Adjustment Procedures: Adjustments Dodge Pickup R2500

STANDARD PROCEDURE - WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Note. On 4WD light duty vehicles, front wheel alignment must be checked and adjusted to preferred specifications with vehicle at correct front suspension height.

  1. Correctly position vehicle on wheel alignment equipment per equipment manufacturer's recommendations. Perform a pre-wheel alignment inspection standard procedure. See «STANDARD PROCEDURE»(ref-167761-S08337885722004102100000) under PRE-WHEEL ALIGNMENT INSPECTION.
  2. On 4WD light duty vehicles, measure front suspension height. See «FRONT SUSPENSION HEIGHT (4WD LIGHT DUTY)»(ref-167761-S33575182452004102100000) under RIDE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT. Adjust front suspension height as necessary. On all vehicles, attach wheel alignment equipment following equipment manufacturer's instructions. Check front alignment measurements. If caster and camber are not within specification, adjust as necessary. Always set toe last. For wheel alignment specifications (Схема №13)and (Схема №14).
