RIDING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Note. Before performing wheel alignment, perform preliminary visual and mechanical inspection of wheels, tires and suspension components. See PRE-ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS in WHEEL ALIGNMENT THEORY & OPERATION article under STEERING in GENERAL INFORMATION.
Before adjusting alignment, check riding height. Measure height from inboard edge of fenderwell directly above center of wheel, unless specified otherwise. Riding height must be checked with vehicle on level floor, correct size tires properly inflated and fuel tank full. Bounce vehicle several times and allow suspension to settle.
Visually inspect vehicle for signs of abnormal height from front to rear and side to side. Check passenger and luggage compartments for extra-heavy items, and remove if present. Riding height difference between left side and right side of vehicle should not exceed 0.39" (10 mm). Information on riding height difference between front and rear is not available from manufacturer. See RIDING HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS table. If riding height is not within specification, check, repair or replace suspension components.

RIDING HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS (1)
FRONT & REAR CAMBER ADJUSTMENT
Note. When performing a complete 4-wheel alignment, rear adjustments must be made first. The following procedure should only be used on the front suspension of vehicles with the ACR competition package. For installation of the camber service kit on the ACR rear suspension, refer to FRONT WITHOUT ACR PACKAGE & REAR .
CASTER ADJUSTMENT
Caster is factory set and cannot be adjusted. If caster is not to specification, replace or repair damaged, bent or broken parts as necessary. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS .
TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT (FRONT)
Note. When performing 4-wheel alignment, rear camber and toe adjustment must be set to specification first, then adjust front wheels to specification.
With steering wheel centered and secured, loosen tie rod end lock nuts. While holding steering rod dust boots stationary, rotate tie rods to obtain specified toe-in. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS. (Scheme 3) Ensure rubber boots are not twisted. Tighten lock nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
Scheme 3
TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT (REAR)
Note. On vehicles with adjustable rear toe settings, rear adjustments should be set first, then adjust front settings.
With steering wheel centered and locked, loosen rear lateral link nuts at crossmember. Rotate adjustment cams to set to specification. (Scheme 4) See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS. Ensure notches on lateral link adjustment cams are facing upward. Tighten nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
