Possible locations or causes of insufficient heat due to mechanical problems are as follows

  1. Obstructed cowl air intake.
  2. Obstructed heater system outlets.
  3. Inoperative engine thermostat.
  4. Inoperative blower motor system.
  5. Inoperative A/C-heater control.
  6. Inoperative blend door actuator(s).
  7. Inoperative, obstructed or improperly installed blend-air door.
