Power Seat System: Overview Dodge Intrepid II

Power seat system consists of 4 single-armature, permanent-magnet, reversible motors coupled through cables to 2 worm gear box assemblies, a control switch assembly and a wiring harness. The circuit is protected by a 40-amp fuse in Power Distribution Center (PDC) and a 20-amp circuit breaker in the fuse box. The power seats can be adjusted in 8 directions: up/down, forward/backward, tilt forward/backward, and recline up/down.

OPERATION

The front control switch, located on the outboard side of each seat, moves seat forward and backward, front of seat up and down and rear of seat up and down. The recliner switch moves back of seat up and down. (Схема №3)
