Headlights ~116 words

DESCRIPTION & OPERATION

The headlight time delay system allows the headlights to remain on for 90 seconds after the vehicle is turned off. This provides time for the vehicle occupants to exit with illumination. The system is activated when the engine is running and the headlight switch is on. When the ignition is turned off and then, within 45 seconds the headlight switch is turned off, the delay will be activated. Delay system is connected to Body Control Module (BCM) and headlight switch. Time delay relay is located on the fuse panel junction block. A 30-amp fuse is located at position No. 5 in fuse panel.
