REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION Section before disconnecting battery. |
Removal & Installation (3.3L)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect alternator field circuit connector. (Схема №1) Disconnect BAT terminal nut. Loosen, DO NOT remove, adjusting "T" bolt. Loosen, DO NOT remove, pivot bolt. Remove alternator drive belt. Remove "T" bolt and pivot bolt using care not to lose pivot bolt spacer. Remove alternator. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (3.5L)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Loosen, DO NOT remove, lower mounting bolt. Loosen, DO NOT remove, pivot bolt. Loosen belt adjustment bolt. Remove alternator drive belt. Remove bracket, lower mounting bolt and pivot bolt. Remove alternator. Disconnect alternator field circuit connector. (Схема №1) Disconnect BAT terminal nut. To install, reverse removal procedure.
