Diagnostic Test

  1. REPLACE THE COMPASS TEMPERATURE MODULE When this code is set, the Compass Temperature Module must be replaced. Repair Replace the Compass Temperature Module in accordance with the Service Information. Perform «BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1»(ref-212762-S01756696562005122700000) .

Diagnostic Procedure

Refer to B1A32-UNIVERSAL GARAGE DOOR SWITCH 1 STUCK for the diagnostic procedure.

  1. PERFORM THE VEHICLE DEMAGNITIZING PROCEDURE NOTE: A blank compass display indicates that vehicle degaussing is required. NOTE: After demagnitizing, the vehicle will enter Auto Fast-Cal when the ignition is turned on. NOTE: Ensure that the correct compass variance is stored in the compass memory. See "Setting Compass Variance in «STANDARD PROCEDURE»(ref-212794-S30158464322005122700000) ." Refer to «STANDARD PROCEDURE»(ref-212794-S30158464322005122700000) for the Compass Demagnitizing Standard Procedure. View repair. Repair When the Demagnitizing Procedure is complete, perform «BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1»(ref-212762-S01756696562005122700000) .
