Scheme 2: CASTER & CAMBER ADJUSTMENT
  1. Check caster and camber setting and compare to specifications. If adjustment is required, clean and sightly loosen caster/camber pivot bar nuts so that upper control arm may be repositioned in slots. (Scheme 2)
  2. Place claw of adjusting tool (C-4576) on pivot bar with pin of tool in tower or bracket holes. To adjust, move pivot bar in and out.
  3. To set camber, move both ends of upper control rod in or out equal distances. To set caster, move one end of bar only. (Scheme 2): Caster & Camber Adjustment Support bracket is slotted to allow adjustment.
  4. To maintain camber, while adjusting caster, move both ends of pivot bar the same distance, but in opposite directions (one end in, the other out). Tighten pivot bar nut to specifications, when adjustment is completed.

TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT

To avoid a binding condition in either tie rod assembly, rotate both tie rod ends in direction of sleeve travel during adjustment. (Scheme 3) Position clamps so ends do not locate in sleeve slots, tighten clamp bolts to specifications.

Rear Wheel Drive Toe-In Adjuster Tube Clamp & Bolt Position Clamps must not locate in sleeve slot. Scheme 3
