MINI FLOOR CONSOLE

  1. Position the floor console (3) in the vehicle and install the screws (2) that secure the console to the floor panel.
  2. Install the rubber liners (1).
  3. If equipped, install the shift boot (2). See «Body/Interior/BOOT, Gearshift - Installation»(ref-352624-S04223938832010010600000) .
  1. Position the floor console (7) in the vehicle and connect the console assembly wire harness connector (6).
  2. Position the floor console to the floor panel and install the screws (2) (5) that secure the console to the floor panel.
  3. Install the rubber liner (1).
  4. Install the cup holder (3).
  5. Install the tray (4).

  1. Remove the two plastic push-pin retainers (2) that secure the outer front seat belt retractor cover (1) to the outer front seat belt retractor (3).
  2. Raise the retractor cover upward to disengage the two locator pins on the inside top of the inboard retractor cover from the locator holes in the top of the retractor.
  3. Spread the bottom of the inboard (1) and outboard (3) retractor cover halves apart and disengage the snaps located at the top of the cover halves and remove the cover halves.
  1. Pull the top of each door seal downward slightly.
  2. Remove the upper door striker trim covers (3) as follows: Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, gently pry the edges of the upper door striker trim cover (3) away from the headliner (2) far enough to disengage the two snap clips that secure the cover to the upper roof rail (1).
  3. Determine which side of the vehicle the headliner will be removed from and disconnect the seat belt turning loop and height adjuster (3) from the upper roof rail (1) on that side of the vehicle as follows: Remove the two screws (2) that secure the seat belt turning loop and height adjuster bracket (3) to the upper roof rail (1) and position it aside.
  4. Remove the upper C-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, C-Pillar Trim - Removal»(ref-352624-S30832360502010010600000) .
  5. Remove the A-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, A-Pillar Trim - Removal»(ref-352624-S37475810642010010600000) . NOTE: Headliner for Quad Cab models shown in illustration. Club Cab similar.
  6. Disconnect the wire harness connector (5) located at the right A-pillar.
  7. If equipped, disconnect the headliner wire harness connector (2) from the inside rear view mirror.
  8. If equipped, remove the overhead console. Refer to «Electrical - Message Systems/Overhead Console - Removal»(ref-352665-S39892635642010010600000) .
  9. Remove the sun visors (4). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Removal»(ref-352624-S38912789342010010600000) .
  10. Remove the sun visor supports (3). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Removal»(ref-352624-S38912789342010010600000) .
  11. If equipped, remove the front dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Removal»(ref-352664-S14385863622010010600000) .
  12. If equipped, remove the rear dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Removal»(ref-352664-S14385863622010010600000) .
  13. Remove the two coat hooks. See «Body/Interior/HOOK, Coat - Removal»(ref-352624-S02676887982010010600000) .
  14. Remove the front seat headrests.
  15. Remove the cab back trim panel. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, Cab Back Trim - Removal»(ref-352624-S39899009552010010600000) .
  16. Remove the rear jumper seat headrests.
  17. Remove the rear jumper seat headrest sleeves from the headliner.
  18. Lower the rear of the headliner (7) and disconnect the headliner wire harness connector (1) from the center high mounted stop lamp.
  19. Recline the front seats. CAUTION: Be careful not to crease the headliner.
  20. Lower the front of the headliner and remove the headliner through the door opening where the seat belt turning loop and height adjuster was disconnected from the upper roof rail.
  1. Pull the top of each door seal downward slightly.
  2. Remove the upper C-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, C-Pillar Trim - Removal»(ref-352624-S30832360502010010600000) .
  3. Remove the upper B-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, B-Pillar Trim - Removal»(ref-352624-S26040308472010010600000) .
  4. Remove the A-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, A-Pillar Trim - Removal»(ref-352624-S37475810642010010600000) .
  5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (5) located at the right A-pillar.
  6. If equipped, disconnect the headliner wire harness connector (2) from the inside rear view mirror.
  7. If equipped, remove the overhead console. Refer to «Electrical - Message Systems/Overhead Console - Removal»(ref-352665-S39892635642010010600000) .
  8. Remove the sun visors (4). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Removal»(ref-352624-S38912789342010010600000) .
  9. Remove the sun visor supports (3). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Removal»(ref-352624-S38912789342010010600000) .
  10. If equipped, remove the front dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Removal»(ref-352664-S14385863622010010600000) .
  11. If equipped, remove the rear dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Removal»(ref-352664-S14385863622010010600000) .
  12. Remove the two coat hooks. See «Body/Interior/HOOK, Coat - Removal»(ref-352624-S02676887982010010600000) .
  13. Remove the right front seat headrest.
  14. Recline the right front seat.
  15. Remove the left front seat. See «Body/Seats/SEAT - Removal»(ref-352624-S07699865402010010600000) .
  16. Lower the rear of the headliner (7) and disconnect the headliner wire harness connector (1) from the center high mounted stop lamp. CAUTION: Be careful not to crease the headliner.
  17. Lower the front of the headliner and remove the headliner through the left door opening.

  1. Position the headliner (6) in the vehicle through the door opening from which it was removed.
  2. Connect the headliner wire harness connector (1) to the center high mounted stop lamp.
  3. Raise the rear of the headliner (7) to the roof panel and install the two coat hooks. See «Body/Interior/HOOK, Coat - Installation»(ref-352624-S20901518562010010600000) .
  4. Raise the front of the headliner to the roof panel and install the sun visor supports (3). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Installation»(ref-352624-S34201481672010010600000) .
  5. Connect the wire harness connector (5) located at the right A-pillar.
  6. If equipped, connect the headliner wire harness connector (2) to the inside rear view mirror.
  7. If equipped, install the overhead console. Refer to «Electrical - Message Systems/Overhead Console - Installation»(ref-352665-S21375850442010010600000) .
  8. Install the sun visors (4). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Installation»(ref-352624-S34201481672010010600000) .
  9. If equipped, install the front dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Installation»(ref-352664-S02793599222010010600000) .
  10. Install the A-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, A-Pillar Trim - Installation»(ref-352624-S03575404672010010600000) .
  11. If equipped, install the rear dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Installation»(ref-352664-S02793599222010010600000) .
  12. Install the upper C-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, C-Pillar Trim - Installation»(ref-352624-S13598150502010010600000) .
  13. Position the seat belt turning loop and height adjuster (3) bracket to the mounting holes in the upper roof rail (1) and install the two screws (2) that secure the bracket to the roof rail. Tighten the screws to 39 N.m (29 ft. lbs.).
  14. Install the upper door striker trim covers (3) as follows: Position the trim cover (3) to the headliner (2) opening around the door striker and engage the retaining tabs that secure the cover to the roof rail.
  15. Install the front seat headrests.
  16. Seat the top of each of door seal to the door opening.

CAUTIONBe careful not to crease the headliner.
  1. Position the headliner (6) in the vehicle through the door opening from which it was removed.
  2. Connect the headliner wire harness connector (1) to the center high mounted stop lamp.
  3. Raise the rear of the headliner (7) to the roof panel and install the two coat hooks. See «Body/Interior/HOOK, Coat - Installation»(ref-352624-S20901518562010010600000) .
  4. Raise the front of the headliner to the roof panel and install the sun visor supports (3). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Installation»(ref-352624-S34201481672010010600000) .
  5. Connect the wire harness connector (5) located at the right A-pillar.
  6. If equipped, connect the headliner wire harness connector (2) to the inside rear view mirror.
  7. If equipped, install the overhead console. Refer to «Electrical - Message Systems/Overhead Console - Installation»(ref-352665-S21375850442010010600000) .
  8. Install the sun visors (4). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Installation»(ref-352624-S34201481672010010600000) .
  9. If equipped, install the front dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Installation»(ref-352664-S02793599222010010600000) .
  10. Install the A-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, A-Pillar Trim - Installation»(ref-352624-S03575404672010010600000) .
  11. If equipped, install the rear dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Installation»(ref-352664-S02793599222010010600000) .
  12. Install the rear jumper seat headrest sleeves in the headliner.
  13. Install the rear jumper seat headrests.
  14. Install the cab back trim panel. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, Cab Back Trim - Installation»(ref-352624-S28043179372010010600000) .
  15. Install the upper C-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, C-Pillar Trim - Installation»(ref-352624-S13598150502010010600000) .
  16. Position the seat belt turning loop and height adjuster (3) bracket to the mounting holes in the upper roof rail (1) and install the two screws (2) that secure the bracket to the roof rail. Tighten the screws to 39 N.m (29 ft. lbs.).
  17. Install the upper door striker trim covers (3) as follows: Position the trim cover (3) to the headliner (2) opening around the door striker and engage the retaining tabs that secure the cover to the roof rail.
  18. Install the front seat headrests.
  19. Seat the top of each of door seal to the door opening.
CAUTIONBe careful not to crease the headliner.
  1. Position the headliner in the vehicle through the left door opening.
  2. Connect the headliner wire harness connector (1) to the center high mounted stop lamp.
  3. Raise the rear of the headliner (7) to the roof panel and install the two coat hooks. See «Body/Interior/HOOK, Coat - Installation»(ref-352624-S20901518562010010600000) .
  4. Raise the front of the headliner to the roof panel and install the sun visor supports (3). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Installation»(ref-352624-S34201481672010010600000) .
  5. Install the left front seat. See «Body/Seats/SEAT - Installation»(ref-352624-S17744334142010010600000) .
  6. Install the right front seat headrest.
  7. Connect the wire harness connector (5) located at the right A-pillar.
  8. If equipped, connect the headliner wire harness connector (2) to the inside rear view mirror.
  9. If equipped, install the overhead console. Refer to «Electrical - Message Systems/Overhead Console - Installation»(ref-352665-S21375850442010010600000) .
  10. Install the sun visors (4). See «Body/Interior/VISOR - Installation»(ref-352624-S34201481672010010600000) .
  11. If equipped, install the front dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Installation»(ref-352664-S02793599222010010600000) .
  12. Install the A-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, A-Pillar Trim - Installation»(ref-352624-S03575404672010010600000) .
  13. If equipped, install the rear dome lamp. Refer to «Electrical - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Interior/LAMP, Dome - Installation»(ref-352664-S02793599222010010600000) .
  14. Install the upper C-pillar trim panels. See «Body/Interior/PANEL, C-Pillar Trim - Installation»(ref-352624-S13598150502010010600000) .

  16. Seat the top of each of door seal to the door opening.
