REMOVAL
The speed control servo assembly (6) is attached to the right inner fender under the air cleaner filter housing.

- Disconnect negative battery cable at battery.
- Remove air cleaner filter housing assembly.
- Disconnect vacuum line (1) at servo.
- Disconnect electrical connector (5) at servo.
- Remove three servo mounting screws (3).
- Disconnect servo cable at throttle body. Refer to «CABLE-SPEED CONTROL»(ref-247660-S28649061702007020100000) . Note: The servo and mounting bracket displayed is a typical unit.
- Remove 2 mounting nuts (1) holding servo cable sleeve (4) to bracket.
- Pull speed control cable sleeve and servo away from servo mounting bracket to expose cable retaining clip (3) and remove clip. Note: The servo mounting bracket displayed is a typical bracket and may/may not be applicable to this model vehicle.
- Remove servo (2) from mounting bracket. While removing, note orientation of servo to bracket.
INSTALLATION
- Position servo (2) to mounting bracket.
- Align hole in cable connector with hole in servo pin. Install cable-to-servo retaining clip (3).
- Insert servo mounting studs through holes in servo mounting bracket.
- Install two servo-to-mounting bracket nuts (1) and tighten. Refer to torque specifications.
- Position servo assembly (6) to inner fender and install three screws (3). Tighten 3 screws. Refer to torque specifications.
- Connect vacuum line (1) to servo.
- Connect electrical connector (5) to servo.
- Connect servo cable (2) to throttle body. Refer to «CABLE-SPEED CONTROL»(ref-247660-S28649061702007020100000) .
- Install air filter housing assembly.
- Connect negative battery cable to battery.
- Before starting engine, operate accelerator pedal to check for any binding.
- Position switch to steering wheel.
- Install switch mounting screw and tighten. Refer to torque specifications.
- Plug electrical connector into switch.
- Install airbag module. Refer to «RESTRAINTS - SERVICE INFORMATION»(ref-247645) .
- Connect negative battery cable to battery.
The vacuum reservoir (2) is attached to the bottom of the windshield wiper cowel panel (1).
- Remove cowel panel.
- Disconnect vacuum line (5) at reservoir.
- The reservoir is attached using three clips. Pry out on clips for removal.
- Remove reservoir from cowel.
- Position reservoir (2) onto windshield wiper cowel (1).
- Install three clips (2) to reservoir. Attach reservoir to cowel panel by pushing clips into cowel panel (1).
- Connect vacuum line (5) to reservoir fitting.
- Install windshield wiper cowel (1).
