Possible locations or causes of insufficient heat due to mechanical problems are as follows

  1. Obstructed cowl air intake.
  2. Obstructed heater system outlets.
  3. Faulty engine thermostat.
  4. Faulty blower motor system.
  5. Faulty A/C-heater control.
  6. Faulty blend door actuator(s).
  7. Faulty, obstructed or improperly installed blend-air door.
