Chime - Non-Dtc Based Diagnostics: Diagnosis Dodge Avenger II facelift

TO TEST THE SYSTEM

1. As the ignition switch is turned to the START position, the lamp should light.
2. Turn ignition switch to the ON position and apply the parking brake. The lamp should light.

IF LAMPS FAILS TO LIGHT, INSPECT FOR

1. A broken or disconnected wire at the switch
2. A Defective switch
3. A burned out Light Emitting Diode (LED)
4. A damaged circuit board

Note. The LED's are soldered to, and part of, the Cab Compartment Node (CCN) electronic circuit board. If either the circuit board or any of the LED's are damaged or inoperative the entire CCN must be replaced.
