NoteThese operations are to be carried out only for repair of components prior to RPO No. 8576
WarningAll the scoured surfaces must be protected: use the approved electrolytic re-zincing process C8
WarningObserve the elementary rules of hygiene and safety (wear a face mask to protect against fumes and vapour - work in a well ventilated space)
Mark out then cut with a saw
Remove the connector support (1)
Position the connector bracket (2)
Weld with electric spot welds
Position the earthing nut (3)
Weld by MAG bead
Protection
Application of primer then spraying of "C5" product in the hollow sections
