Lighting System: Removal & Installation Chevrolet Spark M300

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel lower airbag bracket. Refer to .
  2. Remove the intermediate steering shaft (1). Refer to «Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement»(ref-544463-S19269318582013042400000) .
  3. Disconnect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the brake pedal position sensor bracket bolts (1).
  5. Remove the brake pedal position sensor and bracket assembly.
  6. Remove the brake pedal position sensor bolt (1).
  7. Remove the brake pedal position sensor (2) from the bracket.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the brake pedal position sensor bolt (1) through the bracket and to the brake pedal position sensor (2)..
  2. Tighten the brake pedal position sensor bolt to 3 (27 lb in)
  3. Install the brake pedal position sensor and bracket assembly to the brake and accelerator pedal assembly.
  4. Install the brake pedal position sensor bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 3 (27 lb in).
  5. Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  6. Install the intermediate steering shaft (1). Refer to «Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement»(ref-544463-S19269318582013042400000) .
  7. Install the instrument panel lower airbag bracket. Refer to .
  8. Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to «Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration»(ref-544462-S06735997502013042400000) .

1Hazard Warning Switch Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Squeeze tabs on switch to unsnap from housing bracket.

2Headlamp Assembly Procedure Pull the headlamp assembly forward far enough to access the electrical connection. Disconnect the headlamp electrical connector from the forward lamp harness connector. Remove the headlamp assembly. Aim the headlamps after installation. Refer to Headlamp Aiming .

Headlamp Bulb Replacement

  1. Remove the headlamp. Refer to «Headlamp Replacement»(ref-544462-S23698973852013042400000) .
  2. There are 2 replacement brackets (1) on each headlamp.
  3. For bracket, 1 remove the screws (1) and bracket 1 (2).
  4. For bracket 2, cut the bracket along the marked line (1).
  1. For bracket 1, install the bracket (1) with the specified attachments.
  2. For bracket 2, install the bracket (2) with the specified attachments.
  3. Install the headlamp. Refer to «Headlamp Replacement»(ref-544462-S23698973852013042400000) .
