Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement

The remote control door lock module is incorporated into the passenger side window switch module. Refer to Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - Passenger in Doors.

Removal Procedure

Under normal use, the battery in the transmitter will last about 2 years. For battery replacement, use a Panasonic® 3 volt, type CR2032, or equivalent.

Scheme 16

1. Open the transmitter case and perform the following steps: Insert a dime between the 2 halves of the transmitter near the key ring hole. Twist the dime.
2. Remove the battery.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the battery with the (+) positive side down.
2. Close the transmitter case and perform the following steps: Align the top and bottom covers. Press together the top and the bottom covers. Inspect the operation of the transmitter.
