Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions. Refer to TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT & POOR CONNECTIONS .

  1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to «Seat Replacement - Front Bucket»(ref-176716-S19498008392005051200000) .
  2. Remove the head restraint and guides. Refer to «Head Restraint Replacement»(ref-176716-S23072688962005051200000) .
  3. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to «Seat Back Cover & Pad Replacement - Front»(ref-176716-S33828373172005051200000) .
  4. Drill out the rivet holes on the bolster paddles (1).
  5. Detach the lumbar clip from the top of the seat frame.
  6. Remove the lumbar wire from the bottom of the seat frame.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the motors.
  8. Remove the power lumbar/bolster assembly from the seat.

Lumbar Support System Components

The lumbar support system for the driver and passenger seat consists of the following components

  1. Lumbar/bolster switch
  2. Seat lumbar motor
  3. Seat bolster motor
  4. SEAT 25A circuit breaker

Heated Seats System Components

The heated seats system for the driver and passenger seat consists of the following components

  1. Heated seat switch
  2. Seat cushion heater element
  3. Seat back heater element
  4. Heated seat module
  5. Heated seat cushion thermistor
  6. PTC device
  7. SEO2 30A fuse
  8. IGN3 10Afuse

Memory Seat System Components

The memory seat system consists of the following components

  1. Power seat switch assembly
  2. Memory recall switch assembly
  3. Horizontal adjuster motor
  4. Front vertical adjuster motor
  5. Rear vertical adjuster motor
  6. Recline adjuster motor
  7. Memory seat module
  8. SEAT 25A circuit breaker
  9. MIR/LOCK 3A fuse
  10. IGN3 10A fuse
