CLEARING TROUBLE CODES
Turn ignition switch to ON position, and ground diagnostic test terminal "B" at ALDL connector. Turn ignition switch to OFF position, and remove control module fuse from fuse block for 30 seconds. Install fuse. Remove diagnostic terminal ground lead from terminal "B". If fuse cannot be located, pigtail at battery can be disconnected. When power to PCM is removed, poor driveability may occur until control module relearns operating parameters.

Note. DIAGNOSTIC AIDS in charts may help diagnose trouble codes when problem cannot be identified through circuit checks. ECM, PCM or TCM may be used in flow charts to describe the control module.
