DOOR ADJUSTMENT
Note. This procedure can only be used when bolt-on service replacement hinges are installed.
Scheme 1
- Loosen the body side pillar bolts to the door hinge. Adjust door up or down, forward or rearward, and in or out at the door hinges. Adjust gap between the rocker panel and the door to the specifications (Scheme 1)
- Adjust gap between the door and the roof panel. Adjust gap between the rear of the door and the rear pillar. Adjust gap between the door and the fender. Note that door surface is flush with other panels to within 0.04"(1.0 mm). Tighten the hinge bolts to 26 ft. lbs. (35 N.m).
- Adjust bolt to properly engage the door lock. Tighten bolt to 46 ft. lbs. (63 N.m). Install door striker bolt. (Scheme 2)
