Scheme 1: Stabilizer Shaft Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation . Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement Remove the stabilizer shaft insulators from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement .
1	Front Stabilizer Shaft Tip: Remove the stabilizer shaft from the right side of the vehicle.

Scheme 2: Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
1	Front Stabilizer Shaft Link Nut (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 80 N.m (59 lb ft) Tip: Some models maybe equipped with a washer/spacer between the stabilizer link and the shock strut. It will be necessary to transfer the washer/spacer when replacing the stabilizer shaft or the stabilizer link.

Scheme 3: Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1	Front Stabilizer Shaft Clamp Bolt NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2	Front Stabilizer Shaft Clamp Nut Tighten: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
3	Front Stabilizer Shaft Clamp
4	Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Tip: Place the cut line of the insulator facing the rear of the vehicle.

Scheme 4: Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement

Callout	Component Name
Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation . Remove the brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement .
1	Wheel Speed Sensor Electrical Connector Tip: Push inward on the wheel drive shaft when removing the wheel bearing/hub assembly from the knuckle. This will allow the removal and installation of the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (if equipped).
3	Wheel Bearing Bearing/Hub Assembly Mounting Bolt (Qty: 3) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 115 N.m (85 lb ft)
4	Wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly Bearing Procedure: Separate the wheel drive shaft from the steering knuckle. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement .
5	Wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly Spacer

Scheme 5: Steering Knuckle Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement . Remove the outer tie rod end from the knuckle. Refer to Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End Replacement . Remove the lower control arm from the knuckle. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
1	Bolt (Qty: 2)
2	Nut (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 120 N.m (89 lb ft)
3	Steering Knuckle Tip: Check the wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement .
