- Disconnect negative battery lead at battery. Raise vehicle. Remove starter braces and shields that may be in the way. Remove 2 starter motor attaching bolts, and allow starter motor to drop down.
- Remove solenoid lead wires and battery cable from starter. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure that any shims removed are replaced.
