FAST IDLE CAM ADJUSTMENT

  1. Set fast idle cam so that the screw is held against the second high step of the cam. Insert specified gauge between lower edge of choke valve and inside of the choke wall.
  2. Ensure that gauge is held vertical for measurement. Bend tang of fast idle cam if adjustment is required. (Scheme 17)

CHOKE UNLOADER ADJUSTMENT

  1. Using a rubber band, hold choke valve closed. Position throttle at wide-open. Insert specified gauge between lower edge of choke valve and inside wall of air horn.
  2. Ensure that gauge is held vertical for measurement. Clearance is adjusting by bending tang at existing radius. (Scheme 18)
