V8 ENGINES
Disconnect cable from battery negative terminal. Raise and support vehicle. Remove starter braces, shields, flywheel covers etc., that might interfere with removal of starter. Remove starter mounting bolts and any shims. Lower starter down and disconnect all wiring at solenoid to remove starter.
